Diyarbakır Hope Gate Food Bank, a member of Umut Kervanı Aid Platform [Hope Caravan Aid Platform], launched a relief campaign for the victims of war in Aleppo city of Syria in the name of "Let's be hope gate to Aleppo".

Diyarbakir Hope Gate Food Bank President M. Sıddık Furkan, has made explanations about the campaign, made a call for philanthropists for their support.

Furkan said that the history of mankind has witnessed many brutality and persecution as well as unfortunate fates of many cruel. However, even today, the cruel people of today have fallen to the position of the same brutality and have not learned from history.

Furkan said that these oppressors were Nimrod and Pharaoh People in the past, and that they are now taking their place in the hands of such cruelers as Assad and Sisi, and that they do not ignore the forces behind them. They can be turned into unidentifiable creatures in order to protect their authority, fortune and reign.

Furkan said about the campaign they have lunched: "The Diyarbakır Hope Gate as Food Bank, our application for a campaign has been approved to Syria, especially for the city of Aleppo, where 4-5 years of great humanitarian drama experienced, hundreds of thousands of people have died, hundreds of thousands of people displaced, thousands have become disabled and millions of people have become victims. We are pleased to inform all of our people, all NGOs, and invite them to be more sensitive about this 2-month campaign that we started with the slogan 'Let's be hope gate to Aleppo' to help these oppressed brothers and sisters affected by a dirty war."

Furkan said, "The day is the day of mobilization for the oppressed and the poor Aleppo people. The day is a day to provide a hot meal for the people of Aleppo in these cold winter days, giving a blanket to cover them. In these days, everyone, but everyone, can do absolutely something in this matter."
