After the 10th trial related to Yasin Börü and his friends who were slaughtered, the families of the victims who spoke to ILKHA said that the hearings are not more than repetition of each other, turned into a theatre  and asked to the court to give a decision as soon as possible.

Mehmet Gökgöz, the father of Hasan Gökgöz who was slaughtered in the events of October 6-7, spoke to the ILKHA microphone after the hearing said that this hearing was the same with the previous one and that there was no development.

"They say the thief is the victim, will the thief ever be a victim?"

Gökgöz said that one of the defendants has a thief file, "The most hurting is attorneys of defendants saying that the thief suspect is victim. Will the thief ever be a victim? Are we the victims or are those thieves? We have been travelling for over half and a year from Diyarbakır to here also in cold winters. I ask whether are we the victims now, or is the accused who is the thief?"

Recalling that a decision had to be made now, Gökgöz said, "If a decision was made today, we would be relieved. We will be here again on January 25th. Come here and go back, so what does that mean? They say there is a lack of evidence. Complete all of it. We are coming and going in this snow in the winter."

"Did these children died on their own?"

Gökgöz said there was no difference between the previous court and this court, "The courts do not go beyond being the continuation of each other. These are all scenarios. So who killed these children? If these suspects are the victims, who killed these children then, if they were not the accused? Then find real killers. Did these children died on their own? They fell from the buildings, they were torn, so they were burned on their own? Everybody knows that they did it."

"When the accused got on police van, they say 'we killed them well'

Gökgöz stated that the defendants were speaking in the police van and confessing their crimes while boarding the car, saying that "When these defendants get into the prison vehicle, they say, 'We killed well, we will kill again'. And the judge also knows that the prosecutor and the lawyers know that they are guilty. Enough, do not make us come and go back, and give the punishment so we will relieved."

"There is a truth-superstition war in Turkey"

Mustafa Börü, the uncle of Martyr Yasin Börü, also stated that there is a truth-superstition war in Turkiye and that the persecution on October 6-8 was done to Islam and to all Muslims, "As for the martyrdom of Yasin Börü and his friends, Allah chose them. In fact they were not targeted. The targets were the people that Yasin Börü and his friends represented, that means all the Muslims."

"The government has just realized that the real target was Muslims"

Börü stated that the state and the government realized newly that Muslims were the main targets, "We are saying from the beginning that the target was Muslims. And these brothers were killed because they were Muslims. If Muslims are talking about unity and solidarity, they should not forget that all the sanctities were taken under the feet that day. All the sanctuaries were disintegrating, and those who possessed their sanctification were disintegrating. That's why they need to care more of the cause." (ILKHA)
