The humanitarian aid materials gathered all over Turkiye under the leadership of IHH [Humanitarian Relief Foundation] set off to the Cilvegözü Border Gate from Kazlıçeşme Square with the slogan "Open the way to Aleppo".

IHH President Bülent Yıldırım and HUDA PAR Istanbul Provincial Chairman Erdal Elibüyük made speeches while the aid prepared with the slogan "Open a road to Aleppo" in Istanbul Kazlıçeşme Square was followed by the press statement.

While Erdal Elibüyük said that the Ummah has to leave as soon as possible from the derogation situation in his speech, Bülent Yıldırım said that the massacres in Aleppo should be stopped immediately and the humanitarian aid corridor should be opened and the aid should be delivered.

"Muslims must be confident of each other's hand and language"

Elibüyük said, "Organizations beside the oppressed people, especially IHH, we greet them. Dear brothers and sisters, we are in a difficult time. The Ummah is in unrest and has to come out of this struggle as soon as possible. As soon as possible Muslims must be sure of each other's hand and language. Six years ago, when America invaded Iraq, a sister asked Muslims to save themselves from Abu Ghraib prison. It is not so far away today, and we have these screams in Aleppo now next to us."

"One reason for the sufferings we have caused is that we refer our problems to the West"

Elibüyük, said that the positions of USA and Russia in Syria are a contempt for Muslims, said: "From the beginning of this issue, we say that Muslims should solve their internal affairs among themselves. However, the situation we are experiencing at this point is; unfortunately, we have transferred the problems of ourselves to the West, and we have hope for help from themselves. Aleppo is being bombed. Syria is being bombed. Muslims are killing themselves. However, Russian Foreign Minister and US Secretary of State are announcing a ceasefire on behalf of Muslims. This is a very painful situation. We need to get rid of this lapse as soon as possible."

"People should accompany this convoy"

IHH President Bülent Yıldırım stated that children and women are being massacred in Aleppo for a long time and that people around the world are watching this massacre, especially the Islamic countries and world states are silent. People should be in the streets, join this convoy on the way, and accompany that the interviewers are going to say 'public wants this'."

Yıldırım continued his words as follows: "As soon as possible, open the corridor of humanitarian aid to help those civilians and get them out of there. Geneva Convention, international law... All of you are thrown away, you have no meaning. You lost it in the Gaza convoy. I hope we will also do in Aleppo what we have done for Gaza. We will make whole world hear this. So we must be very crowded on the way, our convoy must be long, join us on the way, support us. Let’s embrace our Aleppo brothers and sisters."

"In the first, we will reach aid materials by 350 trailer trucks to Aleppo"

Yıldırım stated that they will send 350 trailer trucks aid materials to Aleppo. "If people come out from Aleppo, we will probably face like this. Probably 100,000 refugees will come to Idlib. 15 thousand tents, 15 thousand carpets, 200 thousand blankets and pillows, 100 thousand sponge beds, 100 thousand winter clothes, boots, raincoats, scarves, berets, 100 thousand food packages, 100 thousand hygiene packages, 100 thousand baby packages. In the first, we will reach aid materials by 350 trailer trucks to Aleppo and we aim to increase this number to 1000 trailer trucks."

The aid convoy will try to transport humanitarian supplies to Aleppo after it has reached up to the Cilvegözü Border Gate on December 17th. (ILKHA)
