People who lost their lives in Istanbul attack buried in hometowns

People who lost their lives in bombed attack carried out in the past days in Istanbul Beşiktaş by PKK are buried with a ceremony held in their homelands.

44 people lost their lives and 166 people were injured in two separate attacks carried out near the Vodafone Arena in Beşiktaş, Istanbul. Those who lost their lives were buried in the ceremonies held in their hometowns today.

Bursa

A ceremony was held in Bursa for police officer Hüseyin Akyüz (24) who lost his life in the bombed attack in Istanbul.

The funeral ceremony held at Mihrablı Mosque was attended by the Minister of Labor and Social Security Mehmet Müezzinoğlu as well as the family and relatives of the police officer who lost his life.

Provincial Mufti Muhammad Köktaş performed funeral prayers that the attendance was very high and wide security measures were observed.

The funeral of Akyüz was buried in Hamitler Cemetery.

Muş

Murat Yılmaz [22] from Muş province is another police officer who lost his life in bombed attack next to Beşiktaş Vodafone Arena stadium carried out by PKK. A ceremony was held by Governor of Muş for Yilmaz.

Murat Yilmaz, the youngest of the 4 children of Neriman and Nazım Yılmaz couple, thousands of people from Muş are attended at his last journey. Yilmaz's father, Nazim Yilmaz, was seen have difficulty standing.

Governor Seddar Yavuz, who spoke at the ceremony, said, "We sent Murat to the land, and we are Muslims Alhamdulillah. Deaths are not death for us, it is the beginning, the resurrection, the return to Allah.”

Later, after the funeral prayer performed in the Çağlayan Mosque, Yılmaz Taşo was given to the soil in the Taşo Cemetery.

Gaziantep

One of those who lost his live in PKK bloody attacks was Adem Serin from Gaziantep. A ceremony was held in Gaziantep for police officer Adem Serin, who died 22 years of his life.

Speaking at the ceremony, Deputy Prime Minister Mehmet Şimşek said the PKK's goal was to defuse social peace and said that they would never succeed.

After the funeral prayer performed by the Provincial Mufti Co-ordinator Şaban Kondi in the Nakıboğlu Mosque, Serin's funeral was taken to the Asri Cemetery accompanied by a convoy.

Şanlıurfa

Enes Çiçek (21) lost his life in the bombed attack, a funeral ceremony was organized in Şanlıurfa headquarters, and for Mehmet Taş (23) in Şanlıurfa funeral ceremony was organized at Security Directorate's garden.

Faruk Çelik, the Minister of Food, Agriculture and Livestock, said, "We have been living together for a thousand years and we have been together for a thousand years. They cannot break our unity, our togetherness. Today we are burring the funerals of our martyrs in many parts of our country.”

Van

Police officer Soner İdil (27) lost his life in a bombed attack near the Vodefone Arena stadium in Istanbul Beşiktaş and buried in Van

İdil was buried in the Akköprü Cemetery in the presence of takbirs after the funeral prayer performed by Nimetullah Arvas, the Provincial Mufti in the Yukarı Norşin Mosque.

Transport, Maritime and Communications Minister Ahmet Arslan said, "We will continue our unity, togetherness and continuity. (ILKHA)
