Hosted by French Foreign Minister Jean-Marc Ayrault, the international meeting in Paris will discuss the recent developments in Syria, as well as the humanitarian situation of civilians in Aleppo.

In the meeting, it was learned that among the priority issues, especially the security of the civilians in Aleppo will be discussed.

Foreign minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu and his German counterpart, Frank-Walter Steinmeier, as well as the foreign ministers of the United States, England, Qatar, Jordan, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates are attending the meeting.

In addition, Federica Mogherini, the High Representative of the European Union Security and Foreign Policy, and Riyadh Hicab, the General Coordinator of the High Council for the Negotiation of Syria, and Brita Hagi Hasan, President of the Aleppo City Council, are among the invited names.

During the last 6 years of war in Syria, a great massacre took place in Aleppo by Russia and the regime forces. In eastern Aleppo, where 250,000 civilians are suffering from hunger, water and drug troubles, one other side dozens of Muslim lose their lives in daily bombardments. The calls for help are not answered by both the countries in the region and the world public opinion. (ILKHA)
