Magnitude 6.4 earthquake took place in Indonesia's Aceh state, Pidie Jaya region.

The earthquake that occurred at a depth of 10 kilometers of the ground, 54 people lost their lives according to the first determinations.

Puteh A. Manaf, head of Pijay Disaster Mitigation Agency (BPBD), said in a statement he made about the subject that some homes and prayer places were destroyed during the earthquake and dozens were injured.
