Do not set handicap in front of us when we are already disabled. Please help us. We can’t go to a mall in Batman if we want. We want to go shopping with our children we can’t.

Disabilities is not just a day, Tunç remarked that it needs to remember every day, "How strong people whether you guys are, you are doing everything by yourself, just consider a little to people with disabilities. Supposedly this week disabilities, but the week, nothing is done according to the handicapped and not available. We want officials to help please. We are already handicapped, we want to overcome these barriers with their help. Anyway everything hinder for us, at least strong people shouldn’t set obstacles in front of us. Each side of Batman’s street is a barrier to us. Only Diyarbakir Street is a little comfortable, all the other places are the same. We ask for sidewalks to be design according to disabled like those in Diyarbakir street."

I've disabled now and after the age of 22 I became disabilities. I couldn’t walk after brucella illness damaged my cerebrospinal. After the age of 22 I became disabled and couldn’t walk and prisoned to wheelchair. I ask from all our people to be sensitive. Each person is a disabled candidate. No man should trust his own health, please all people be sensitive to us. They shouldn’t despise us when they see us, they shouldn’t look at us as if we are different people, and we are others.  We ask from all the sensible people, take us in too. Look at us like other healthy people."

Our children get sick and can’t go to the hospital. We can’t do our works. We are staying at home stranded. We want our streets to be repaired. Even if they can’t repair now, at least they can pour sand so we can get out with our battery-operated wheelchairs and do our works, buy what we need.”

Tunç voicing some other obstacle in front, "Billboards that settled in the middle of sidewalk are handicaps for us. Then we have to go on side of streets and drivers are getting angry with us. We want to go on the sidewalk, no handicapped ramp on the sidewalk and there are bus stops and billboards are in the middle of sidewalks. Just one can pass from those narrows. No battery-operated wheelchair can pass or motorcycle. We also can’t use the train. Currently I am kidney patient. I want to go to Diyarbakir, I cannot go by bus. I want to go by train but the train is not suitable for us. Supposedly they made us a lift, but they cover up the elevator for two years. Although trains are free for us bur we can’t use train. If they make a ramp for us then we can take on train easily. We want authorities to be sensitive in this regard." (ILKHA)
