The President of Religious Affairs Dr. Mehmet Görmez published a message on November 20, World Children's Rights Day, said, "Exploiting of effort, body and future of child is the last point of decompose and bankruptcy of humankind.”

Görmez continued in his message and said, "Humanity cannot be prospered unless we look at with the eye of 'small and honorable caliph of the earth' to the child, unless humanity has designed the world according to the best interest and priorities of the child, without considering goodness for the child."

"To darken a child's life is to darken the horizon of mankind." Said Görmez and continued as, "It is the most natural right of the child to grow in a peaceful, safe and healthy environment. Exploiting the child's body, future, and labor, is end point of mankind's embarrassment and bankruptcy. It is a serious crime that its account cannot be given to both Allah and humanity. It is a religious and legal responsibility to combat child neglect and abuse in every sense."

Görmez emphasized that every child should be protected as a trust given by Allah, and said, "No girl can be married without being an acquaintance of being a mother and without understanding the meaning of being a wife. No child should be obliged, victimized and oppressed to suffer the struggle of ambition, power and power struggle, war and violence.
