After a trustee has been assigned to Batman Provincial Municipality with delegated legislation, workers of Highway and provincial special administration who charged for cleaning municipal refuses have been verbal and actual attacks by a group.

After the trustee has been assigned, sanitation workers haven’t done their job and accumulated wastes ended up spreading reeked of. Therewith, the Governorship has started a cleaning work, formed a team from Highway and Provincial Special Administration workers.

Workers have been stoned by a 20-30 people stated that they were PKK/HDP members, during they were cleaning gathered wastes in Cumhuriyet and Safak quarters.

Some of works have wounded during the attack, class of cleaning vehicles are broken. (ILKHA)
