Members of ‘Victim Families Initiative of 28 February and FETO’ gathered with families of prisoners who are jailed with the lawless decisions of judges and prosecutors related to FETO, have been accepted by Zekeriya Yapicioglu in HUDA PAR Kahta district organization. In the meeting with Yapicioglu, families uttered their victimizations and asked Yapicioglu to be their ‘voice’.

First put out the fire!

After listened families, Yapicioglu said:”The Government says we are chasing those incendiaries, we put them away. And we say put out the fire is should be more prior. First put out that fire. Because the fire continues, sometimes burn houses sometimes burn hearts. It is east to bust those incendiaries and punish them. But the more prior and the more significant are to put out the fire. Busting incendiaries is the job of police officers and constabularies, put out the fire is the job of fire department.  But the Government asks firefighters to go and catch those incendiaries. Means they do work in reverse. But Allah willing we will continue warning them.”

Yapicioglu said that they thought the Government has understrength so far, “However from now on if they still continue on the same way, I’m afraid curses of suffered people will turn to the Government. The Government will get a severe slap, they will not even understand where it came from.” he said.

A commission needs to be set up for retrial

Yapicioglu emphasized that the Government can solve this problem only with an article, “There are around 3 thousand 400 judges and prosecutors have been dismissed from profession so far, investigations about some others still continue. A great number of those judges and prosecutors tasked in special court-martials and there are their signs under the imprisonment sentences of a great number of those political prisoners. All decisions of those judges and prosecutors are wrong? We are not in such a claim. Even a stopped watch is right twice in a day. But with an article, a commission can be set up and reexamine the decisions of those judges and prosecutors. They can count this as a reason for rehearing. A circuit of Supreme Court can be charged on this.” expressions he used. (ILKHA)
