PKK intercepted the 20th kilometers of Bitlis-Diyarbakir high way at 05.00 in the morning, burned people’s vehicles in the Buzlupinar location. After many hours, the incident ended after PKK members run away.

People have reacted PKK, who got off from their vehicles by gun pointed. People who victimized in the long tailbacks said they have been waiting under the sweltry weather with their families and there was nothing to eat for hours.

Hudidan Tekin said that people who are stranded, faced big distressed, indicated that by intercepting the road and burning vehicles, PKK victimized thousands of people with hunger and thirsty under the hot weather.

Cigdem Koray indicated that they were travelling to Sason to visit their relatives and their car has been burned and complained that there is no permission for hours to go.

Mesut Ozbek who was transferring his sacrificial animals from Van to Sanliurfa uttered that it has been hours they are waiting on the road under the hot weather and his animals are about to die because of thirstiness. Selahaddin Akbas, who was travelling to Cizre, expressed that they don’t want the kill of soldiers and police officers in the region any more, and wished for the conflict process to end.

It is observed that some of citizens were lying under the shade of their cars at the tailbacks, elders and children were suffering from the hot weather.

On the other hand, people showed their reaction why the military operation lunched after hours against PKK members. it is expected the road to be opened for cars after PKK member escaped. (ILKHA)
