According to initial information 11 police officers have lost their lives and around 50 people are wounded in car bomb attack on district police headquarters of Cizre.

A car bomb attack around 06.50 o'clock, targeted  Cizre Riot Police Headquarters building located in Konak quarter, on the Cizre Sirnak highway. A large scale damage was seen in the police headquarters building while smoke was rising.  

It was learned that 11 police have lost their lives and around 70 people are wounded after the attack. Wounded were taken to Cizre State Hospital.

Many ambulances, firefighters and rescue team were sent to the scene.

The sound of explosion has been heard from remote places of the district, also windows of houses and work places of 4 kilometers in the area have been broken. (ILKHA)
