People of the region have experienced PKK’s pressure and brutality and on the other hand felt the persecution of the Parallel structure until their marrows. As though raids on the villages, Islamic people to be assassinated in the middle of the street, unsolved murders and PKK to put pressure on the region like a nightmare wasn’t enough, persecutions caused acted by polices that were members of PDY (Parallel Government Structure) /FETO (Fathullah Terror Organization) caused huge victimizations. Still experiencing injustice victimizations caused by the police members of the Parallel structure, Faruk Afsin was sentenced with lifetime imprisonment.

They throw him down from cliff after the heavy torments

Kidnapped 16 years ago from around his house in Gaziantep, Faruk Afsin first was tortured in the house he was taken to. Afterwards was taken to a countryside named Duluk Baba. He was systematically tortured on the ice and snow and after that was thrown down from the cliff. Afterwards they called another police group and they made an official arrest.

Surviving after all the torture and being thrown from the cliff, Afsin experienced more torture in the “Fight to terrorism branch management”. They tried to make Afsin that was targeted just because of his beliefs to sign a fake statement report they filled in to report. But Afsin struggled to refuse to sign that fake statement report that made up. Because Afsin didn’t sign the statement report, tormenting polices signed the statement report themselves. And after in Ministry of Justice Forensic Medicine it was proven on 26th September 2002 that the signature wasn’t belonged to Afsin.

Assassination attempt to Afsin in prison

Faruk Afsin was put into Gaziantep E type prison by court after one week of torture. Police members of The Parallel structure continued to put pressure on Afsin also while he was in prison. They made a confessor to attack Afsin by razor blade and Afsin got wounded as a result of this attack. According to reports also the prison management knew that before. Because guardians were waiting for the assassinator on the door and after the attack they took him out like they were kidnapping him, reported.

As this attack happened between 10:00 am to 11:00, Afsin and some of his friends were sent to Silifke special type prison in the same night of the day. After a while Afsin was sent to Mersin medicine center and his treatment continued there.

Afsin was sentenced with lifetime imprisonment as a result of indictments are not belong to him

After remaining paralyzed due to tortures, Afsin recovered after 5 - 6 years. But he still carrying the scars of the difficult times that he experienced. Being sent to Adana F type prison on 26th December Afsin’s court process took 10 years. After he was sentenced due to statements that are not belong to him, the court result was appealed. And the high court approved the lifetime imprisonment.  So Faruk Afsn was sentenced with lifetime imprisonment within fake statements. Being in prison since 17 years Afsin is now in T type prison in Siverek and expecting justice.

After the 15th July coup attempt that was supported by US and led by ‘Parallel State Structure’ (PDY/FETO) victimizations caused by this organization started to emerge. Parallel structure’s relation network that was found out after the coup attempt wasn’t successful, the victimizations that they caused by injustice, Politics, plots, bureaucracy came to agenda more than before.
