In Batman, Guler bakery has been giving bread to poor people with the help of charitable people in every Ramadan for 17 years as a tradition. This year again with the begining of Ramadan they are giving free bread to poor people between 16:00 and 17:00 everyday of Ramadan.

Guler bakery’s owner, Serefettin Yuce, said that we give 500 breads everyday with the help of charitable people and each poor people can obtain  two bread everyday during RAMADAN. He pointed out that it continues with the help of charitable people.

Yuce “we have been doing this for a long time. Before I took the ownership of this bakery my friends have done that. Ever since I took over, I continue this tradition. Even We do not announce anything about this organization, needers keep coming in front of our shop. Therefore the charitable people aid us in terms of continueing this activity. We share their aids to those poor people as bread” he said.

Yuce “Especially the number of poor people has increased due to syrian refugees, even we are giving 500 breads it is still not enough to meet their needs. As well as we expect charitable to support this organization.”

Moreover, he saidd that last year they had distributed 21 thousand of bread. we  are expecting , this year  the number of breads  will rise. The length of queue reveals the severity of poverty.” (ILKHA)
