Civil Society Organisations member of the Hope Caravan continue to make the families in need smile. Platform member Bingol Hand of Mercy Association and Uhuvvet-Der Association located in Birecik, Sirnak helped hundreds of families with food packages and cash.

Help worth 7 thousand TL by Hand of Mercy Association

Bingol Hand of Mercy has published its May activity report. The association has helped 55 families in need worth of 7 thousand and 260 TL.

Mehmet Refik Gonul, the deputy head of Hand of Mercy Association, gave information about their workings. He noted that they helped 30 families with food packages worth 2 thousand and 260 TL and helped a total of 25 families with cash assistance of 5 thousand TL.

Referring to the importance of helping Gonul said, “Helping is a way of thanking Allah so it is a way of returning the values given to us by Allah.”

Gonul indicated that they try to help as many families in need within the boundaries of their possibilities each month, “We thank everyone who has contributed in helping the needy. Allah has not created everyone human being with the same intelligence or strength. For this reason, financial differences consist between people. Some people may be rich, while some may also be poor. So we thank everyone who has contributed in supporting as to help the families in need.”

Ramadan help to 100 families by Uhuvvet-Der Association

Uhuvvet-Der Association, active in Birecik, Sanliurfa helped 100 families in need before Ramadan.

Erol Bozkurt, the Uhuvvet-Der Association Commission Leader made a speech about their activities, “With the aim of delivering aids to the families in need, we have distributed food packages to 100 families including to the Syrians. I thank everyone individually, the volunteers who have helped us distribute the food packages.”

Each parcel was prepared and at the value of 120 TL said Bozkurt. (ILKHA)
