European Yetim-Der Association Deputy Chairman Huseyin Ates made a statement on the activities they plan to do to help those in need in the month of Ramadan. He noted that as a charity they aim to reach thousands of orphans and families in need.

European Yetim-Der Association presents humanitarian aid to orphans and families in need in 52 countries across the globe. The association has begun its operations to reach to thousands of orphans and families in need in the month of Ramadan. Huseyin Ates, the Deputy Chairman of European Yetim-Der Association made a statement about the subject matter, “From the day we were founded, we have been trying to help orphans and victims in several countries over the world. We shared our activities with the public as an institution in 2015. As you will remember we helped hundreds of thousands of people in need. We thank our benefactors and all our volunteer representatives in advance for their donations during the month of Ramadan.

“There are more than 400 million orphans around the world”

Ates hopes that this month of Ramadan would be a blessing to the mankind, “As you all know, in the month of Ramadan those who survive hunger are understood better so we call everyone who can to help us support those in need. There are more than 400 million orphan children around the world and as well as them there are millions of people who are need. We should not leave these people alone in iftar, suhoor and eid.”

“Thousands of orphans will be reached in Turkey and across the world”

“With the will of Allah, we will be distributing help in 15 points in Turkey. We will be helping the orphans and those in need in Kahramanmaras, Midyat, Idil, Cizre, Manisa, Kiziltepe, Silopi, Nusaybin, Trabzon, Siirt, Batman, Silvan, Tarsus, Elazig and Aksaray.

In the month of Ramadan, we will be doing the following said Huseyin Ates: “We also aim to give iftar dinners as part of our 2016 Ramadan programme. We will also be distributing iftar dinner to orphans and those in need in Gaza in Palestine, Sri Lanka, Philippines, African countries, Togo, Gambia, Uganda, Guinea Bissau, Nifer and Senegal. We will be helping the refugees in Germany too and we will distribute gift cards so they can buy halal meat from specific stores. We will be having iftar dinner programmes in madrasa’s in Turkey. We will also be distributing food packages in Balkan countries and we aim to buy clothing to the orphans in Batman and Mus before Eid.”
