2nd HUDA PAR Ordinary Congress was held in Atatürk Sport and Exhibition Hall in Ulus neighborhood of Ankara.  Starting at 10 o’clock, HUDA PAR Congress ended at 15.00 in the afternoon. Current president Zekeriya Yapıcıoğlu stood as the only candidate for the party leadership and Yapıcıoğlu re-elected as the head of party.

Held under the slogans of “Honest policy, True Justice, Free Cause and Free World” the election of Chairman, members of Executive Board, Council Board and Discipline Committee was casted separately. In the election, 651 of 974 delegate casted their votes. Current president received 651 delegates’ votes and took the chairman seat of HUDA PAR.

Yapıcıoğlu made a thank-you speech to the attendees after he was re-elected as Chairman of the party. Yapıcıoğlu said: “You have left this burden on my shoulders again. Before the congress, we counseled with friends in the party. We decided to enter the election with a single list. Our brothers considered this appropriate. I have the honor of carrying this burden. You, the delegates upheld this. I wish, May our Lord sustain our brotherhood and solidarity forever. May He grant me enough strength to carry this burden. May He enlighten our path and prevent us from making mistakes. With the will of God, we will continue to lead our society to the right path and we will try to hold righteousness up over everything to attest to the justice. My dear brothers! I thank you all for your kind concern. I need your prayers. our cause is peace, fraternity and conciliation.” (ILKHA)
