A press release was held in Diyarbakir after the Friday prayer for the execution of the Jamaat-e-Islami leader Motiur Rahman Nizami by the secular Hasina government

Recep Idikut read out the statements in the press release on behalf of the Islamic Civil Society Organisations, noting that the murders of Muslims in Bangladesh have no legitimate basis.

Idikut drew attention to the Bangladesh governments bogus accusations, defamations and slanders to destroy the Jamaat-e-Islami. He underlined that the justification of these actions is to break away the Jamaat-e-Islami from Bangladesh.

Idikut continued, “The tyrannical government of Bangladesh who is a puppet of the court charges the Jamaat-e-Islami leader Mutiur Rahman Nizami with death penalty and later executed on the basis of committing ‘crimes against humanity’ during the independence war.”

Idikut added that cruel Hasina has made these executions a national and legal duty for her dictatorship.

Despite all the atrocities the Jamaat-e-Islami did not use violence

The Hasina regime has become the puppet of the Western imperialism and has in the past executed the Jamaat-e-Islami Party members Abdulkelam Azad and Andulkadir Molla said Idikut. He added, “Again Gulam Azzam also died in prison when he was imprisoned for 90 years by the decision of the court in Bangladesh. Despite all the atrocities the Jamaat-e-Islami did not use violence and continued to retain its attitude as a Muslim and asked for peace and tranquillity in Bangladesh.”

Idikut continued his speech, “The oppressors all over the world should be aware that are precursors that have obeyed Allah have given us honour for their struggles in the history. The leading precursors such as Sheikh Said, Hasan Elbenna, Seyyid Kutup, Sheikh Ahmed Yasin, Abdulkadir Molla and Motiur Rahman Nizami have adopted for themselves a philosophy of life.”

“For the end of persecution and executions, you should review your relationship with Bangladesh”

once again Idikut stated that he is speaking out to the Muslims and sensitive people of the world, “We appeal to states with justice and mercy. We want action to be taken to end the cruel acts of the Bangladesh government. For the end of persecution and executions, you should review your relationship with Bangladesh. Otherwise the killings will continue and you will be their partner in crime for remaining as an audience.”

“It is a huge mistake if Bangladesh believes that they can survive with their national dictatorship of cruelty because several other dictators like Pharaoh, Nimrod and Abu Jahl were destroyed.” (ILKHA)
