Games of Clash in Qamishlo

ILKHA has lifted the veil of mystery over the clashes occurred three days ago in Qamishlo.

Residing in center of Qamishlo, where 9 civilians lost their lives during the clashes between Syrian regime forces and YPG, Mihemed A. said that there weren’t any clashes between the groups except Aliya and Cuma neighborhoods of the town.

“Everyone knows that PYD takes sides with Regime”

Indicating that the events experienced in Qamishlo are all a part of game, Mihemed said: “The Kurds don’t espouse the path pursued by PYD and Kurds started to question them. Everybody knows that PYD and Syrian regime have a tacit agreement. And of course, as Kurds we don’t prop this agreement. This regime has killed us for years done everything in the book.”

Do Kurds believe in that?

Mihemed said that; “PYD claims that ‘we have no any deal with Regime. We don’t take joint action; look we are fighting against them, too.’ After hurly-burly, shooting around and messing up, they would announce that ‘we have captured here after a war’. Wallahi! This is a lie. They have already split the city between each other. Just have a look; regime can even re-seize a simple district just after fierce battles lasts for months. However, YPG captures these places just in a couple of hours; for God’s sake tell me Do Kurds take the bait?”

“They don’t care the deaths”

Saying that as always the civilians got hurt again, Mihemed said: “One of my relatives killed, and four others were wounded. Up to now 9 civilians have lost their lives and hundreds of people got wounded. Yet, they don’t care the deaths. Moreover, they wish some of the soldiers be killed they can do anything just so as to be believable."

Can there be two states in one city?

Mihemed said as his last words: “PYD claims that they have captured all Rojava and become a state. But these are all full of bologna. Can there be two states in one city? There are traffic officers in Qamishlo. In the square, where there is a statue of Bashar Assad’s father Hafez Assad, the murderer of thousands of Kurds, at one corner of the square, there are regime police officers and the opposite side of the square there are so-called PYD’s traffic officers. If you fight against each other, what this is then. Why do you hail each other? Qamishlo airport is under the control of regime but PYD commanders use this airport to go anywhere in the world. Every day PYD and regime representatives have talks. They are the same at the table and act together, and to hide this collaboration, they sometimes conduct sham fights. So, what it was experienced in Qamishlo was just a part of scenario scripted in the meetings held in the airport." (İLKHA)
