Clashes continue in Qamishlo

In Qamishlo a border town opposite Nusaybin, the clashes between regime forces and YPG, PYD’s military wing, continue.

According to local sources, the clashes have intensified in Cuma and Alaya neighborhoods of the town. On the other hand, it is reported that YPG banned Friday Prayers in the town.

Bugün sabah saat 04.00 sıralarında ise Şemmar aşiretine bağlı silahlı güçlerin Cezire Kantonu diye tabir edilen bölgede, müttefikleri olan YPG’ye bağlı 8 kişiyi öldürüp silahlarını aldıkları bildirildi.

8 YPG militants were reportedly killed and their weapons were confiscated by a YPG allied paramilitary groups bound to Shemmar tribe in the region called as Jezira Canton around 4.00 am.

Co-head of Jezira canton is shared by Humeydi Dehham al-Hadi, leader of a widespread tribe from Syria to Iraq, Saudi Arabia and Jordan, and PYD representative Hediye Yusuf. Al-Hadi is also cousin of former head of National Coalition for Syrian Revolutionary and Opposition (NCSRO) Ahmad el-Jerba. Al-Jerba also has close ties with Saud regime.

Two significant actors of the organization called as “Syrian Democratic Forces “fighting against each other shows a remarkable detail.

To the latest news from the city say that people began to flee to safe districts after the conflicts getting intensified.  (ILKHA)
