Fire in Diyarbakir: 5 people lost their lives
5 people from same family lost their lives in a house fire in the Kurdik village of Diyarbakir.

A fire broke out in the house belongs Mehmet Ozcan in Kurdik village in Diyarbakir around early hours in the morning. 5 people from the same family lost their lives; because of poisonous smoke from cooking stove.
Family members, who lost their lives in the fire; Father Murat Ozcan (42), mother Leyla Ozcan (35) and children Gul (14), Azad (12) and Mehmet Ozcan (6).
Dead bodies of those who lost their lives in fire were taken to Selahaddin Eyyubi public hospital in Diyarbakir for autopsy. The villagers had prepared the family cemetery to bury those who lost their lives in the fire.
After the fire the house turned to unusable. The prosecutor's office launched an investigation about the fire accident. (ILKHA)
