Magnitude 5.2 earthquake shakes Türkiye's Çanakkale province
A magnitude 5.2 earthquake struck off the coast of Ayvacık in Türkiye's northwestern Çanakkale province on Tuesday night, according to the Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency (AFAD).



The earthquake occurred at approximately 23:38 Turkish Standard Time (TSI), with its epicenter located at a depth of 8.65 kilometers.
While tremors were felt in surrounding areas, authorities reported no immediate damage or casualties. Local officials and AFAD teams are closely monitoring the situation and remain on standby.
