Türkiye's consumer confidence index rises to 81.3 in December
The Turkish Statistical Institute announced on Friday that Türkiye's consumer confidence index increased to 81.3 in December, marking a 1.9% rise from November's figure of 79.8.
The rise in the index reflects an improvement in consumer sentiment heading into the end of the year.
The survey measures consumer evaluations and expectations regarding personal financial situations, general economic conditions, and overall spending behavior.
The increase suggests optimism among consumers about the country's economic outlook as 2024 approaches. (ILKHA)
