Since the commencement of Operation Al Aqsa Flood on October 7^th, 2023, the organization has been actively rallying to support the Aqsa Flood and react against the ongoing Israeli genocide in Gaza.

During the event, Hatip Üçgül delivered a press statement on behalf of HÜDA PAR Provincial Presidency in front of the Grand Mosque.

He began by quoting a verse from the Qur'an, emphasizing the duty to stand against oppression: “War has been made obligatory on you even if you do not like it. Something you dislike may be good for you. And something you like may be bad for you. Allah knows the truth, but you do not know.” (Baqara: 216). Üçgül extended greetings to those who resist oppression and stand in solidarity with the oppressed, particularly in Gaza.

Üçgül criticized the global community for its inaction, noting that the world is witnessing the Zionist regime committing crimes against humanity, including the massacre of children, women, and civilians. "The Zionist occupation regime continues to commit atrocities that are rare in the history of the world," he said. Üçgül highlighted the severe impact of these atrocities, noting that 211 newborn babies and 825 children under the age of one have been killed, and approximately 35,060 children have lost one or both parents. He condemned the international community for failing the "Gaza test" and declared that modern ideologies have proven bankrupt in protecting children's rights.

Üçgül pointed out that 20,000 children were killed in Gaza over the past year, and numerous educational institutions were destroyed, depriving 785,000 students of their education. He criticized the so-called defenders of children's and women's rights for their silence and inaction, calling for accountability and action against the ongoing violence. "The magic of the gilded words in defence of children's rights has been broken," he said.

The statement also highlighted the extensive destruction in Gaza, with 90% of the area devastated, including hospitals, schools, public institutions, and civilian settlements. Üçgül emphasized that the occupation regime does not even allow the right to live in tent cities, further exacerbating the humanitarian crisis. He added, "Humanity died, consciences were dulled, brotherhood was lost, and there was no courage left in the new world order designed by Zionists."

Üçgül urged the global community, particularly Islamic countries and states of conscience, to take urgent action to stop the genocide in Gaza. He called for military, logistical, and technological support for the resistance and emphasized the legitimacy of HAMAS as the representative of the Palestinian people. "Our demand from the free peoples of the world and state leaders who are on the side of the oppressed is this: Islamic countries and states of conscience must take urgent action to stop the genocide in Gaza and fulfil their Islamic, political, military and humanitarian responsibilities," Üçgül stated.

Demanding immediate and decisive action, Üçgül outlined a series of steps to address the crisis:

1-Islamic countries and the global community must unite to end the genocide in Gaza and fulfill their moral, political, and humanitarian obligations.

2-HAMAS, the elected and legitimate representative of the Palestinian people, must be supported in its resistance.

3-Efforts must focus on achieving a permanent ceasefire, rebuilding Gaza, and holding the Zionist regime accountable for its crimes.

4-Regional alliances should be strengthened to counter the regime’s expansionist ambitions.

5-An economic boycott of Zionist-backed products and the cessation of oil shipments must be enforced globally.

He also called on Turkey to enact legislation targeting dual citizens who have participated in crimes against the Palestinian people.

The rally ended with prayers for the people of Gaza and a reaffirmation of commitment to the Palestinian cause. Üçgül expressed solidarity with the “heroic defenders of Gaza,” paying tribute to leaders and resistance fighters who continue to stand against oppression.

“Greetings to the courageous people of Gaza, to the leaders and martyrs who inspire us all. May Allah’s blessings be upon those who resist tyranny and fight for justice,” he concluded.

The event underscored HÜDA PAR’s unwavering support for the Palestinian struggle and its determination to mobilize public and international action to bring an end to the Zionist regime’s atrocities. (ILKHA)
