Al-Houthi made the statement during his weekly speech on Thursday, which coincided with the opening of celebrations for the Prophet Muhammad's birthday and addressed the ongoing Israeli aggression against Palestinians in Gaza.

In his address, Al-Houthi emphasized Yemen's unwavering support for the Palestinian cause, despite the nation’s own suffering amid internal conflict. He vowed that Yemen would not hesitate to mobilize resources and efforts to support the Palestinian people, particularly in Gaza, where Israel’s military operations have drawn global condemnation.

“We will spare no effort in activating whatever we can to support the Palestinian people, even though our own people suffer from pain and feel abandoned,” said Al-Houthi. He affirmed that Yemeni armed forces are prepared to launch bold military operations without hesitation, striking their enemies with new technologies that have never before been seen in warfare.

Al-Houthi praised the Palestinian resistance fighters in Gaza for their courage and steadfastness despite their limited resources. He noted that the Mujahideen in Gaza continue to fight valiantly, while contrasting their resolve with the inaction of larger Arab armies, which he criticized for pursuing different agendas.

“The fighters in Gaza show unparalleled cohesion and resilience,” Al-Houthi remarked, “far exceeding the large armies of Arab regimes that have gone in a different direction.”

He further condemned Israel’s ongoing aggression, accusing the Israeli military of cowardice and failure despite its overwhelming power and destructive capabilities. According to Al-Houthi, Israel’s brutal military campaigns expose its inherent weakness, as it struggles to subdue the Palestinian resistance.

The Yemeni leader concluded by lamenting the lack of unified support from Arab and Islamic nations for the Palestinian struggle. He suggested that had the Palestinian people received proper backing from the broader Arab and Islamic world, their resistance would be in a much stronger position today.

“If the steadfastness of the Palestinian people had received support and backing from the Arab and Islamic nations, the situation would have been more advanced,” Al-Houthi stated.

Despite Yemen’s ongoing internal conflict and humanitarian crisis, Sayyed Abdul-Malik Al-Houthi made it clear that the country remains committed to aiding the Palestinian cause. His speech highlighted Yemen's readiness to deploy new technologies and military capabilities in the broader fight against oppression, signaling a shift in tactics amid the worsening situation in Gaza.

Al-Houthi’s message resonates within a broader regional context, where many Arab and Islamic nations have been criticized for their limited action in support of Palestine. As Yemen’s leader intensifies his rhetoric, the potential for a more active role by Yemen in regional conflicts, particularly regarding Israel and Palestine, may rise in the near future. (ILKHA)
