In a televised speech from Sana’a on Friday morning, Saree stated that the city is now within the range of Yemeni weapons and would be a primary target if Israel continues its aggression against Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.

Earlier today, a drone struck an area near a US consular facility in Tel Aviv, resulting in the death of one person and injuring ten others. Israeli air defenses were unable to intercept the drone. Saree revealed that Yemeni air defense units had used an advanced radar-evading unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), named "Yafa," to carry out the strike. He described the operation as successful, achieving its intended objectives.

The Yemeni military official emphasized that the drone strike was conducted in support of the oppressed Palestinians in Gaza and in retaliation for the Israeli military's actions against civilians in the besieged territory. He warned that Yemeni Armed Forces have a comprehensive list of Israeli targets, including sensitive military and security buildings, and they will continue to strike these sites in response to Israeli atrocities.

Saree made it clear that Yemeni operations would persist until the aggression against Gaza ceases and the blockade on Palestinians is lifted. He reiterated Yemen’s unwavering support for the Palestinian resistance fighters in Gaza, who are defending Arab and Muslim lands.

Since the onset of Israel's war on Gaza on October 7, Yemenis have openly declared their support for Palestine’s struggle against Israeli occupation. Brigadier General Saree's statement highlighted the alignment of Yemeni military actions with the defense of Gaza and underscored the ongoing regional tensions and the broader implications of the conflict between Israel and Palestinian factions.
