Turkish authorities seize over 4 tons of methamphetamine in Istanbul raids
Turkish Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya announced the seizure of a massive haul of methamphetamine in a series of coordinated raids across Istanbul.
Yerlikaya, in a social media statement, revealed that authorities confiscated a staggering 4 tons and 604 kilograms of the drug during "Operation Narkoçelik-5."
The raids targeted three locations in Istanbul's Beylikdüzü, Arnavutköy, and Bahçelievler districts, the minister said.
The operation also resulted in the arrest of eight suspected drug manufacturers, including four foreign nationals. (ILKHA)
