According to local sources, israeli warplanes conducted over 50 airstrikes in Rafah, deploying internationally prohibited incendiary missiles in the assault.

Palestinian medical sources confirmed the tragic toll, with at least 100 people killed and over 230 wounded in the heavy bombardment of Rafah, located in the southern Gaza Strip.

The Palestine Red Crescent Society (PRCS) reported that Israeli airstrikes targeted densely populated residential areas, warning of an impending catastrophe.

Additionally, reports indicated that israeli forces targeted mosques, including the al-Houda Mosque in the Yibna camp and the al-Rahma Mosque, where displaced Gazans sought refuge.

Within the span of an hour, Rafah transformed into a battleground as multiple Israeli airstrikes hit the city, overwhelming medical facilities like the Abu Yousef al-Najjar Hospital, which lacks the capacity to treat all the wounded.

Simultaneously, fierce clashes erupted between Palestinian Resistance fighters and Israeli occupation forces northwest of Rafah, escalating tensions in the region.

Zionist regime’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's directive to prepare for a ground offensive in Rafah has sparked international concern. US President Joe Biden cautioned Netanyahu against proceeding without a credible plan to ensure the safety of civilians in Rafah.

Rafah, currently home to over half of Gaza's population, faces dire humanitarian conditions exacerbated by the looming threat of invasion. Egypt has issued warnings to "Israel," threatening to suspend diplomatic relations if a full-scale invasion is launched.

The Ministry of Health in Gaza reported 14 massacres in the past 24 hours alone, resulting in over 100 deaths and hundreds of injuries, bringing the total Palestinian death toll to 28,176, with 67,784 injuries since the onset of the Israeli aggression on Gaza. (ILKHA)
