The incident occurred in Kartal Village, Nurdagi district, involving a helicopter belonging to the General Directorate of Security Aviation Department.
Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya confirmed the fatalities and mentioned that the last contact with the helicopter was at 10:49 p.m. local time.
Alongside the pilots' demise, one technician sustained injuries.
Yerlikaya expressed condolences for those who lost their lives and wished a swift recovery for the injured technician.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation. (ILKHA)
