The Qur'anic Generation Platform recently issued a statement addressing the ongoing crisis in Gaza, expressing hope for the liberation of Jerusalem, and calling on Muslim leaders to demonstrate sincere and robust support for the cause.
Commencing with a historical context, the statement highlighted the significance of the last week of Rajab, marking the conquest of Jerusalem by Saladin-i Ayyubi and the miraculous events of Isra-miraj. It emphasized the global significance of Jerusalem, a city that bears the blessed imprints of the Prophet and serves as a spiritual focal point for believers.
"In this sacred week, as we reflect on the historic events in Jerusalem, we stand united in our commitment to supporting the rightful cause of Palestine and the liberation of Jerusalem," expressed the statement.
Despite attempts by the Zionist regime to narrow the issue to Palestine, the platform emphasized that the Jerusalem case remains a universal concern for Muslims worldwide. The struggle for Jerusalem, the statement asserted, would persist until the city is free from occupation. The sacred lands, once characterized by centuries of peace, security, and prosperity, have unfortunately been marred by the footsteps of Zionists, leading to bloodshed and tears in cities and villages.
Over nearly a century of Zionist occupation, Palestinian families have endured immense challenges, including martyrdom, exile, imprisonment, and mass slaughter. "Our hearts ache for the suffering endured by our Palestinian brothers and sisters. The world must hear their cries and respond with empathy and action," stated the platform.
The statement critically examined the hypocrisy of the Western world, particularly its self-proclaimed defenders of human rights, showcasing the stark reality faced by Muslims in the shadow of Zionism. "It is disheartening to witness the silence of international leaders in the face of blatant human rights violations. The suffering of the Palestinian people demands a collective global response," emphasized the platform.
In an earnest call to Muslim leaders, the Qur'anic Generation Platform urged them to prioritize sincerity in supporting Jerusalem. "To the leaders of Muslim nations, we say: Jerusalem looks to you for leadership and support. Your sincerity in this critical time will leave a lasting impact on the course of history," urged the platform.
The platform advocated for a decisive approach, including the termination of projects, agreements, and relationships with the Zionist mentality, asserting that such a language is the only one the occupying forces would comprehend. "The time for decisive action is now. Let us send a resounding message to those who perpetrate injustice – we stand united against oppression," declared the platform.
The statement urged individuals to support Jerusalem not only through material means but also through moral and spiritual avenues. "Each one of us has a role to play in the struggle for justice. Let us mobilize our resources, participate in actions and marches, and fervently pray for the liberation of Jerusalem," encouraged the platform.
"In our prayers, let us reserve a special place for Palestine and Jerusalem. May our collective supplications resonate with the Almighty, guiding us toward the days when Jerusalem is free," concluded the statement.
On the occasion of Al-Quds Global Week, the Qur'anic Generation Platform extended a supplication to the Almighty for the liberation of Jerusalem. The statement concluded by saluting the heroic Palestinian people, expressing a fervent desire to witness the days when Jerusalem is free, and aspiring to be active participants in that noble struggle.
