According to the report, the confidence index witnessed a notable increase of 4.0% in the services sector, contrasting with a 1.0% decrease in the retail trade sector. Meanwhile, the construction sector experienced a positive upswing with a 3.3% increase.
Breaking down the numbers further, the seasonally adjusted confidence index in the services sector saw a significant rise of 4.0%, reaching 116.8. Conversely, the retail trade sector reported a 1.0% decline, resulting in a confidence index of 115.6. The construction sector, on the other hand, exhibited a positive trend, registering a 3.3% increase and reaching a confidence index of 90.9 in January compared to the previous month.
These fluctuations in confidence indices provide insights into the dynamics of Türkiye's economic landscape, indicating varying sentiments across different sectors.
