The rally, organized by the Prophet's Lovers Foundation, was held on Sunday in Gaziantep tour buses parking area, despite the rain.
The rally was titled "Support for Jerusalem and Aqsa Flood", referring to the ongoing military operation by Hamas and other Palestinian factions in response to israel's aggression in Jerusalem and the Al-Aqsa Mosque.
Meshaal said that the Aqsa Flood was a jihad to liberate Palestine and the Al-Aqsa Mosque, the first Qibla of Muslims and the site of the Prophet's ascension to heaven.
He said that the operation had dealt a great blow to the zionist regime, defeated them, and destroyed their dreams.
He also condemned israel's crimes against the civilians, especially the children and women, and the attacks on mosques, hospitals, and churches.
He thanked the people of Gaziantep, an ancient city, for their support and solidarity with the people of Gaza and Palestine.
He also called on the Muslims in other countries to continue to fill the squares and show their support for the Palestinian cause.
The rally ended with a prayer recited by researcher and writer Müfid Yaray. (ILKHA)
