Speaking at a news conference in Gaza City, spokesman Salama Marouf disclosed that an additional 110 mosques suffered partial damage due to the attacks.

According to Marouf, zionist forces also targeted three churches in their airstrikes on Gaza.

The zionist army announced on Thursday that they had conducted over 12,000 airstrikes, targeting numerous military sites in the Gaza Strip since October 7. However, Marouf highlighted that most of the targets struck in these attacks were residential buildings, public structures, and hospitals.

The zionist military has intensified its aerial and ground assaults on the Gaza Strip following the surprise offensive initiated by the Palestinian resistance group, Hamas, on October 7.

The ongoing conflict has resulted in a substantial toll, with nearly 10,800 casualties, including at least 9,240 Palestinians and over 1,538 Israelis.

The severe destruction of mosques, in addition to the targeting of various structures, has compounded the already dire situation in Gaza.

With basic supplies dwindling and a large number of casualties and displacements, the 2.3 million residents in Gaza are grappling with an increasingly challenging humanitarian crisis. (ILKHA)
