In a news conference held in Beirut on Thursday, Hamdan said that the zionist army committed three massacres within less than 24 hours in Gaza, which killed and injured about one thousand civilians, describing the health situation in Gaza as “catastrophic.”
The Hamas official belied israeli claims about the presence of resistance sites in Gaza hospitals, affirming that the zionist army makes such lies to justify its crimes.
He affirmed that the partial opening of the Rafah border crossing does not meet the needs of Palestinians in Gaza.
Hamdan pointed out that providing relief to Gaza requires the entry of a minimum of 300 aid trucks daily.
“The occupation state failed to achieve its goals in its operation, and its massacres will not weaken the resilience of our fighters,” the Hamas official said.
“The occupation state is trying to cover up its failure by committing massacres, but that will not succeed,” he added.
The Hamas official also deplored the US administration for making statements about the future of Gaza without Hamas, describing its officials’ remarks in this regard as “rude and arrogant.”
“The United States is trying to form Palestinian political leadership according to its criteria, but choosing the leadership of the Palestinian people is a purely Palestinian matter that happens through elections,” he said. (ILKHA)
