Hundreds of people participated in the protest, which took place in front of the 'Gaza Support Tent' near Atatürk Park and drew representatives from political parties and NGOs.

During the demonstration, participants frequently chanted takbir and voiced slogans condemning the zionist occupation regime.

The crowd, unified in their support for Palestine, prominently displayed Palestinian and Tawhid flags. Banners proclaiming "Don't Be Silent against Murderer Israel" added to the demonstration's fervor. Commencing with a recitation of the Quran, the event saw HÜDA PAR's Batman Provincial Chairman, Davut Şahin, take the stage to elucidate the purpose of the 'Gaza Support Tent.'

In a poignant address directed at Governor Ekrem Canalp, Şahin made an impassioned request on behalf of the Muslim community: "Since the israeli occupation gang has surrounded Gaza from top to bottom and seeks to obliterate it, I make the following plea to our Governor. Let us rename one of the busiest streets in Batman to 'Gaza Street' and designate one of the most vital squares as 'Jerusalem Square.'"

Mullah Osman Teyfur, a member of ITTIHADUL ULEMA, seized the opportunity to deliver his message in Kurdish, underscoring the historical and spiritual significance of Jerusalem and the Al-Aqsa Mosque. He emphasized that it is a religious obligation for Muslims to engage in jihad against those who occupy Islamic lands.

Addressing the assembly, writer and screenwriter Ahmet Turgut voiced both admiration and concern: "We are ashamed today. Today we are in weakness. We are 2 billion Muslims, but our brothers and sisters in one thousandth of our population are in glory." Turgut went on to acknowledge the courage and determination displayed by the people of Gaza, who, despite limited resources, remain resolute in their faith and honor.

Subsequently, HÜDA PAR's Batman Central District Chairman, Attorney Cihad Altun, assumed the role of reading a press statement. He fervently called for the boycott of products originating from the Zionist occupation regime and urged all Muslim nations, particularly Turkey, to sever diplomatic, economic, and strategic ties with the occupation regime.

Altun emphasized the significance of boycotting brands openly endorsing Zionism and stressed the need to raise awareness among Muslim societies.

"Muslim parents should tell their children about the love of Jerusalem and raise them for Jerusalem," he added.

The event reached its conclusion following the reading of the press statement, resonating with a unified call for solidarity with the people of Palestine. (ILKHA)
