In the rally organized by the New Welfare Party at Government Square in Konya to express support for the Palestinian resistance against the Zionist occupation regime, Yapıcıoğlu passionately called on Islamic nations to take decisive action, stating: "Cut your diplomatic relations with zionist regime. Do not stand by and watch your brothers and sisters being killed every day. Do not sell your oil and gas to the murderers of our brothers and their accomplices."
Yapıcıoğlu highlighted the ongoing genocide in Gaza and appealed to Islamic countries to stand in solidarity against the systematic occupation.
Drawing attention to the incremental nature of the occupation, he underscored the hypocrisy of the West in the face of the suffering of the Palestinian people. He reminded the crowd that the Palestinian people have endured immense suffering since 1917.
Yapıcıoğlu stated: "Dear brothers and sisters, as you know, there has been great suffering in Palestine for 8 days. Immediately after the British occupation in 1917, Zionist terrorists inflicted various kinds of suffering on our brothers and sisters there. After the UN resolution in 1947, since the Zionist terrorist network declared itself as a state in 1948, systematic persecutions and massacres have been taking place one after another."
The rally in Konya reflects the widespread sentiment of solidarity with Palestine and condemnation of the ongoing violence inflicted by the zionist occupation forces. (ILKHA)
