According to local sources, the ZOF kidnaped at least 17 citizens in West Bank raids, nine of them from Bethlehem.
Local sources in Bethlehem said that the ZOF kidnaped six young men from their homes in Teqoa town, two others from the city and one from al-Deheisha refugee camp.
In Jenin, two citizens were taken prisoners during ZOF raids in the towns of Jaba and Rummanah. A number of young men reportedly suffered from their exposure to tear gas during clashes with Israeli soldiers in Rummanah.
One of the detainees in Jenin was kidnaped as he was attending a hearing held for his son at the military court of Salem. He was identified as 47-year-old Mohamed Abu Aoun.
Israeli forces also kidnaped three citizens after intercepting their car at a makeshift checkpoint they set up on the Nablus-Jenin road, particularly near Bizzariya village.
In Tulkarem, the ZOF kidnaped three citizens from their homes.
Another young citizen was kidnaped by Israeli police officers from his home in the Jerusalemite town of Biddu. (ILKHA)
