In an effort to support students in need, the Hope Caravan Foundation (Umut Kervanı Vakfı)  is assembling stationery packages for distribution to disadvantaged individuals in Istanbul and other parts of Türkiye.

The foundation's mission is to provide stationery aid to tens of thousands of underprivileged and orphaned children both within Turkey and abroad before the commencement of the school year.

Cengiz Kurtaran, President of the Hope Caravan Foundation, spoke to Ilke News Agency (ILKHA) about their stationery aid initiative, stating: “We have initiated our stationery aid efforts for the 2023-2024 academic year, both domestically and internationally. Through the contributions of our generous benefactors, we aim to fulfill the stationery requirements of our students. This year, we have given priority to the earthquake-affected regions, where our distributions are currently underway. In Istanbul, we also have students who are in need, and we are working diligently to ensure their stationery needs are met before the school year begins. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our benefactors, praying for abundant rewards for their support. Additionally, we have made preparations to provide stationery aid to numerous students abroad in time for the start of the school year. Within the next 1-2 weeks, we will complete our stationery aid efforts, contributing to the smiles of many students.”

The Hope Caravan Foundation's commitment to supporting education and helping students in need remains at the forefront of their philanthropic efforts, with a particular emphasis on regions affected by natural disasters and disadvantaged communities.
