5 killed in traffic accident in China’s Shanxi Province

A traffic accident occurred in a tunnel on the Cangzhou-Yulin Expressway in Shanxi Province, China, on Wednesday, killing five people and injuring three others.

The accident happened at 5:24 p.m. local time when a coach carrying 32 people collided with the interior wall of the Fenghuangling tunnel. The driver of the coach and four passengers were killed, and three others were injured.

The injured passengers are being treated at nearby hospitals.
