Seattle Mayor Bruce Harrell released a statement in response to the shooting, saying that it was "a senseless act of violence that has taken the lives of three people and injured six others." He said that the city is working to reduce gun violence, but that more needs to be done.

"We must do everything we can to keep our communities safe," Harrell said. "That means working to get illegal guns off our streets and providing resources to help people who are struggling with violence."

The investigation into the shooting is ongoing. (ILKHA)
