The decision, which was published in the Official Gazette, was signed by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.

The designated areas include:

-An area of 9,466 square meters in the Yuva Neighborhood of Yenimahalle district in Ankara, which will be added to the Ankara Teknopark Technology Development Zone.

-An area of 30,206 square meters in the same district, which will be designated as the TOBB Economy and Technology University Technology Development Zone.

-An area of 6,061 square meters in the İnciraltı Neighborhood of Balçova district in Izmir, which will be allocated for Dokuz Eylül University.

-An area of 38,826 square meters in the Ardıçlı Neighborhood of Selçuklu district in Konya, which will be assigned for Selçuk University.

-An area of 30,776 square meters in the Lodumlu Neighborhood of Çankaya district in Ankara, which will be dedicated as the Ankara Science University Technology Development Zone.

The boundaries of the Hacettepe University Technology Development Zone in Lodumlu Neighborhood of Çankaya district in Ankara have also been expanded as part of the decision.
