According to local sources, the incident occurred when a motorcycle loaded with explosives was detonated near a taxi of the SABA company at Kou Sudan Street in Sayyida Zainab.
In the aftermath of the blast, the Syrian police and relevant authorities swiftly responded, rushing to the explosion site.
The bodies of the victims and the injured were promptly transported to nearby hospitals for urgent medical attention, as per a statement released on telegram by the Syrian interior Ministry.
As of now, no individual or group has claimed responsibility for the attack.
