The meeting occurred at the Presidential Complex in Ankara and was not open to the press. Prior to this, President Erdoğan and President Abbas held one-on-one talks at the same venue to address various topics, including bilateral relations, the Palestine-israel issue, and other regional and global developments.
The meeting between Erdoğan and Abbas was their first since December 2021. The two leaders discussed ways to improve relations between Turkey and the Palestinian Authority, as well as the latest developments in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
The meetings between Erdoğan and the Palestinian leaders come at a time of heightened tensions in the Middle East. (ILKHA)
