The suspects were identified by the Provincial Police Department's Anti-Terrorism Branch, which had been investigating them for allegedly carrying out activities on behalf of ISIS.
Simultaneous operations were carried out at multiple addresses in the city center, and the suspects were detained after their homes were searched.
The suspects, who include both Turkish and foreign nationals, are being held at a police station in Adana, where they will be questioned by authorities.
The arrests are part of a broader crackdown on ISIS in Türkiye, which has been a major target for the group in recent years.
In 2015, ISIS carried out a series of suicide bombings in Türkiye, killing hundreds of people.
The Turkish government has since taken a number of steps to crack down on the group, including arresting suspected members and shutting down ISIS-affiliated websites and social media accounts. (ILKHA)
