Zionist regime’s warplanes carried out at least 10 air strikes in Jenin, sending smoke billowing from the wreckage of buildings, while more than 100 armored vehicles were seen moving towards the city.
The Palestinian health ministry said the raids killed at least five people and wounded 25, seven of whom were in critical condition.
The ZOF attacks set off a gun battle that lasted into Monday morning, with the sounds of explosives and drones continuing to be heard across Jenin hours after the raid.
As daylight broke out on Monday, thick black smoke from burning tires set alight by residents swirled through the streets and calls to support the fighters rang out from loudspeakers in mosques.
Following Monday’s attack, the zionist military said in a statement that it struck a “joint operations center”, which served as a command center for the Jenin Brigades, a unit comprised of fighters from different Palestinian armed groups. (ILKHA)
