Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko updated Russian President Vladimir Putin on the outcome of his discussions with Yevgeny Prigozhin, the chief of the Wagner mercenary group,

Earlier, Lukashenko's office stated that he had engaged in a conversation with Prigozhin, which had received Putin's approval.

During the talks, the rebellious leader of the Wagner militia reportedly agreed to halt the movements of his fighters, including a convoy heading towards Moscow, and work towards de-escalation. (ILKHA)
