The delegation, consisting of Central Executive Board members Vedat Turgut and Abdussamed Yalçın, along with Diyarbakır Provincial Deputy Chairman Emin Akyüz, Bismil District Chairman Ali Bilmez, and other party members, visited the villages at the center of the dispute to provide solace and support during this challenging time.
They emphasized the utmost importance of maintaining calm and harmony within the community.
The dispute, which originated in Serçeler (Şidada) village, escalated into a violent confrontation between the Taş and Alyamaç families, resulting in the tragic loss of 9 lives and leaving 2 others injured.
At present, the injured individuals are receiving medical treatment in the hospital, while authorities have detained 5 suspects for further investigation into the incident.
In order to ensure the security and stability of the region, ongoing security measures have been implemented by the gendarmerie in the affected villages.
The visit by the HÜDA PAR delegation aims to provide unwavering support and solidarity to the grieving families, while appealing to the community to exercise restraint and work towards fostering peace and harmony in the area. (ILKHA)
