Their unwavering commitment to the affected region has resulted in continuous aid efforts to address the immediate needs of the earthquake victims.

Since the onset of the earthquake on February 6, Hope Caravan Foundation has been working tirelessly to support the affected communities, particularly in providing essential supplies such as hot meals to the earthquake victims. The foundation has been dedicated to ensuring that the affected individuals are not left alone during this challenging time.

Cengiz Kurtaran, the Chairman of Hope Caravan Foundation, visited Hatay, where many citizens have been compelled to live in tents due to the earthquake. During his visit, Kurtaran personally distributed food packages to the affected individuals and took the opportunity to gather valuable information about the challenges they are facing.

Expressing the foundation's commitment to continue assisting earthquake victims, Kurtaran stated: “Our visits to the earthquake-affected regions are ongoing. Currently, we are in İskenderun, Hatay. Since the first day of the earthquake, we have been providing aid to our brothers and sisters here. Our support includes distributing hot meals and offering other forms of assistance. Currently, we are situated in a Tent City, where we have successfully delivered aid to the affected families. Our local team in İskenderun is actively involved in relief efforts. God willing, we will persist in our endeavors to aid the earthquake victims.”

With the approaching Eid al-Adha, the foundation aims to fulfill the Qurbani (sacrificial animal) pledges made by generous benefactors in İskenderun and Hatay. Additionally, in order to distribute the meat from these sacrifices to the affected individuals, further exemplifying their dedication to providing comprehensive support during these difficult times.

Kurtaran emphasized the importance of prioritizing the needs of the earthquake-affected regions, adding: “The wounds caused by the earthquake are far from healed. Many of our brothers and sisters are still living in tents, while others have relocated to container cities. Although the construction of earthquake-resistant housing is underway, demolitions are still taking place, and the reconstruction process is ongoing. Until the wounds are fully healed, we will continue to stand by our brothers and sisters, delivering the necessary aid. May Allah be pleased with all our generous benefactors.”

Hope Caravan Foundation's unwavering commitment to supporting earthquake victims reflects their determination to alleviate the suffering and facilitate the recovery of affected communities. Through their continuous efforts and the support of generous individuals, they aim to make a lasting impact on the lives of those affected by the earthquakes. (ILKHA)
