The swearing-in ceremony, held at the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye (GNAT), was followed by President Erdoğan's inauguration at the Presidential Complex.

He stated: “Our nation once again upheld their democratic achievements and said to us, 'Don't stop. Keep going, keep working, and keep producing services and works.'"

Erdoğan also highlighted the failure of attempts to undermine the national will, commending the people for rejecting proposals that sought to impede progress and choosing a politics of accomplishments and public service over populism.

Stating that Turkish democracy, which has suffered blows by coups almost every 10 years since 1950, has once again proved its maturity to the whole world, Erdoğan said: “It has been seen that the slanders of dictatorship and autocracy uttered by those who cannot even take half of the voters to the polls are completely empty. With these elections, we have not only foiled the campaigns that have been waged against our country for decades, but also secured our future. Again, in these elections, we have seen that our proposal for the Century of Türkiye has been accepted by our people.”

Erdoğan outlined his plans for the upcoming term, promising to implement his vision step by step over the next five years. He reiterated his commitment to fulfill the promises made during the election campaign and emphasized the goal of replacing the current Constitution, a remnant of a coup, with a liberal, civilian, and inclusive one. The President pledged to focus on advancing the country through investment, employment, production, exports, and achieving a current account surplus.

According to official results, Erdoğan secured 52.18 percent of the vote, while his opponent Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu obtained 47.82 percent.

Following the inauguration, Erdoğan is expected to announce his new cabinet, with speculations suggesting that former finance minister Mehmet Şimşek, renowned for his international reputation, could play a significant role in the government.
