It views these actions as part of a religious war targeting Palestinian land, people, and holy sites.
The movement emphasizes that such fervent endeavors will fail to erase the Arab and Islamic identity of occupied Jerusalem or distort its historical significance. Hamas praises the steadfastness exhibited by the Palestinian people in the face of zionist occupation and calls upon the Arab and Muslim Ummah (community) to provide support in their struggle for freedom.
